Thank you for using NoScreenshot ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Data Processing

Local Processing: NoScreenshot is designed to process most of your data locally on your device. Your screenshots, recognized text (OCR), and notes are stored entirely on your device. We cannot access this data.

Cloud Processing: When you use the text enhancement feature (LLM), the recognized text is sent to our backend server and forwarded to an LLM provider for processing. Your original images are never uploaded.

2. Data Collection

We collect limited data to operate and improve NoScreenshot:

• Account Data (Sign in with Apple): We receive an anonymous user identifier from Apple. If you choose to share your email, we may use it for important notifications.
• Credits Balance: Your credits balance is stored on our servers to enable LLM features.
• Support Code: A unique code for customer support identification while your account is active.

We do not collect your screenshots, OCR text, or notes. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Device Permissions

• Photo Library: Used to select screenshots for text recognition. Images remain on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign In: Used for user authentication. Apple handles the authentication securely.
• Apple StoreKit: Used to process in-app purchases. Apple handles payment transactions securely.
• LLM Provider: Used for text enhancement features. Only the text you choose to enhance is sent for processing.

5. Data Retention

Local Data: Your notes are stored locally and retained until you delete the app or delete items within the app.

Server Data: Your account identifier, support code, and credits balance are retained on our servers until you request account deletion in the app.

After account deletion, we remove active account records and retain only minimal non-recoverable payment audit and anti-abuse records that cannot restore your deleted account.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
