Thank you for using PocketBox ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Data Processing

Local Processing: PocketBox is designed to process your media files (videos and images) locally on your device. We do not upload your photos or videos to any external servers for processing. All conversions, compressions, and edits happen directly on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Data Collection

We collect limited, non-content data to operate and improve PocketBox. We do not collect your photo/video content for cloud processing.

• Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics): We collect app usage events such as tool views, tool starts, tool results (success/failure), processing duration, and aggregated counts (for example, number of selected items). This helps us improve stability and product experience.
• Purchase and Subscription Data (RevenueCat + Apple): Purchase status, entitlement state, and transaction-related metadata are processed to unlock and restore paid features.
• App Settings: Your preferences (such as default output formats) are stored locally using UserDefaults.

We do not use your app data to directly identify you by name, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Analytics: Used for product analytics and app event measurement. Firebase may process technical and usage information according to Google's policies.
• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchase entitlements, subscriptions, and restore flow.
• Apple StoreKit: Used to process in-app purchases. Apple handles payment transactions securely; we do not have access to your full payment details.

4. Data Sharing and Retention

We share limited data only with service providers required to run the app features described above (for example, Firebase and RevenueCat). Data retention is managed by these providers under their respective policies, and by Apple for App Store transactions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
