Thank you for using ReadyGo ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

1. What ReadyGo Does

ReadyGo helps you plan trips by generating packing lists, providing weather forecasts for your destination, and managing travel details. The app is designed with privacy in mind — your trip data stays on your device.

2. Data on Your Device

Trip Data: All your trip details (destinations, dates, packing lists, checklist items) are stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in data storage. They are not uploaded to our servers.

Family Info: Personal and family member information (gender, age, nickname) is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted externally.

3. Data Collection & Third-Party Services

We collect limited data through the following services:

• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchase entitlements and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase and entitlement data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple WeatherKit: ReadyGo uses Apple's WeatherKit service to fetch destination weather forecasts. Weather requests are associated with your app's bundle ID only — no personal data is sent. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases are processed through Apple. We do not have access to your full payment details.
• AI Packing Suggestions (Optional): If you choose to connect a third-party AI service (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, or others), trip context (destination, dates, purpose, companion types) is sent to that service to generate packing suggestions. No personal identifiers are included in these requests. You must provide your own API key for these services — ReadyGo does not collect or store your API key on our servers.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.

4. Location Data

ReadyGo uses location search to help you find destinations. Location queries (destination names) are sent to Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) for geocoding. No personal identifiers are included in these requests.

5. Data Sharing and Retention

We share limited data only with service providers required to run the features described above. Data retention is managed by these providers under their respective policies.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
